A large number of TV stations is using only video servers for on-air playout. This, however, requires considerable amount of time to be spent on ingest. ClipMaker is designed for automating this process, offering computer controlled ingest from VTR or DVD. It also has a timed record list which works in two modes – server’s record channel sharing with VTR/DVD list or having it’s own record channel.
